Using a qualitative methodology through a literature review, the study leveraged systematic data collection from credible sources, including academic journals, theses, and policy documents. Key findings revealed that effective communication relies on the counselor's credibility, which is rooted in the Aristotelian principles of ethos, pathos, and logos. Various strategies, such as repetition with references to the Quran and socio-cultural approaches, were highlighted as crucial in ensuring community understanding and participation. The techniques used ranged from informative to persuasive communication, including both direct and indirect methods of information dissemination. Furthermore, persuasive communication significantly increased participation in empowerment programs by influencing community perceptions and encouraging voluntary engagement based on religious values. The study concluded that Islamic counselors played a significant role in fostering active participation and trust among rural communities, demonstrating the transformative potential of persuasive approaches in community development initiatives. Overall, the effective use of persuasive communication increases both the quantity and quality of community involvement in empowerment efforts.
2026-01-03T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://jurnal.alhikmah.ac.id/index.php/globalcommunico/article/view/544Framing Mahasiswi Penghafal Al-Qur’an Terhadap Fenomena LGBT di Media Sosial2026-01-03T02:11:20+00:00Ainun Jariahainunjariahanje28@gmail.comFina Dhiyaun Najihahfinadhiya15@gmail.comSri Wahyunisriwahyunialhikmah20@gmail.comSunaryantosunaryanto@alhikmah.ac.id
This research aims to determine the views of female Quran-memorizing students regarding the LGBT phenomenon emerging on social media. The method used is qualitative research based on Robert M. Entman’s framing analysis, which consists of four dimensions: define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgments, and treatment recommendations. The research informants are female students specializing in the study of the Quran and Exegesis (IAT) at STAI Dirosat Islamiyah Al-Hikmah Jakarta. The findings indicate that these students define the LGBT phenomenon on social media as a serious threat of normalizing deviance, triggered by unregulated algorithms, toxic social environments, and weak individual spiritual foundations. Morally, they evaluate this phenomenon as a form of extreme disobedience and a betrayal of human nature (fitrah) that is in absolute contradiction to Divine law. As a solution, they recommend a narrative counter-movement through massive Islamic educational content to challenge pro-LGBT campaigns in the digital space. Furthermore, technical measures such as content blocking by relevant authorities and Sharia-based sex education are deemed necessary to build the mental immunity of the younger generation.
2025-07-18T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://jurnal.alhikmah.ac.id/index.php/globalcommunico/article/view/545Strategi Dakwah Ustadz Abu Deedat Syihab dalam Upaya Mengantisipasi Gerakan Kristenisasi di Indonesia2026-01-03T08:08:04+00:00Ana Safianasafiana@gmail.comSunaryantosunaryanto@alhikmah.ac.id
This research was conducted to understand the da'wah strategies used by Ustadz Abu Deedat Syihab in anticipating Christianization movements in Indonesia. This research focuses on the strategies, approaches, and da'wah activities used, as well as their impact on the Muslim community in Indonesia, particularly in handling apostasy cases. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a social anthropological approach. This research is qualitative because it collects data through interview methods, observation, literature study, and documentation. The results of this research discussion show that Christianization in Indonesia has covered all aspects of life, from education, health, culture, social, politics, and economics. They approach communities based on field research they conduct before carrying out their mission, not just based on mere assumptions, but implemented with precise targeting. Additionally, the destruction of the morality of Muslims by Christian missionaries has also achieved remarkable results. They create fortresses that isolate and manipulate Islam from most Indonesians so that Muslims doubt their own religion. Christianization in Indonesia has different views regarding joint decisions about socializing religious ethical codes. The Christianization campaigns conducted by missionaries in Indonesia have crossed boundaries and do not comply with the ethics of religious propagation. Therefore, the author researched the da'wah strategies used by Ustadz Abu Deedat Syihab as an Indonesian Christology figure in efforts to anticipate the Christianization Movement.
2025-07-17T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://jurnal.alhikmah.ac.id/index.php/globalcommunico/article/view/583Moral, Media, dan Madrasah: Suara Remaja Muslim tentang Bahaya Pornografi di Dunia Digital2026-03-03T05:51:38+00:00Minhah Uulaaminhahuulaa08@gmail.comMarwah Nur Azizahmarwahnur54@gmail.comKhodijahkuliahkhodijah@gmail.comAhmad Adnanahmadadnan@alhikmah.ac.id
This study aims to understand the perceptions of madrasah students toward the phenomenon of pornography addiction. It seeks to analyze how adolescents, specifically students of MTs Negeri 1 Jakarta, define the issue of pornography, identify the actors perceived as the causes of the problem, provide moral evaluations, and propose recommendations for addressing pornography addiction. The informants in this study consist of seven students from MTs Negeri 1 Jakarta. Data were collected through interviews with these students, while data analysis was conducted using Robert M. Entman’s framing analysis, which includes four dimensions: problem definition, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and treatment recommendation. The findings indicate a high level of social and moral awareness regarding the issue of pornography addiction. The students view pornography as a deviant behavior resulting from weak self-control, lack of family supervision, and exposure to negative content on social media. They perceive pornography addiction as a moral deviation that damages one’s character, emotions, and social relationships, emphasizing the importance of collaborative solutions through moral education, counseling, and spiritual reinforcement. These findings suggest that Muslim adolescents in madrasahs have the potential to become digital moral agents if supported by media literacy and religious education that are relevant to the digital era.
2025-07-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://jurnal.alhikmah.ac.id/index.php/globalcommunico/article/view/584Nilai Dakwah dalam Novel Perjalanan Cinta ke Hagia Sophia Karya Melisa Ode Kamil2026-03-04T02:56:43+00:00Melisa Ode Kamilodekamilmelisa@gmail.comAde Fadli Fachruladefachrul17@gmail.com
Novels as popular literary works do not merely function as entertainment; they also serve as meaningful media for conveying moral messages and da’wah values. The novel Perjalanan Cinta ke Hagia Sophia (Journey of Love to Hagia Sophia) presents a compelling blend of romance, historical background, and Islamic spirituality, making it significant to examine from the perspective of da’wah studies. This research aims to identify and analyze the da’wah values embedded in the novel, particularly those related to aqidah, akhlaq, and ibadah. The study employs a qualitative content analysis method by closely examining the text, selecting relevant quotations containing da’wah messages, and classifying them according to established categories of da’wah values. The findings reveal that the novel effectively functions as a contemporary medium of da’wah, integrating Islamic teachings within a romantic narrative framework that appeals to younger readers. The interconnected values of tawhid, moral conduct, and worship practices are harmoniously woven into an educational and inspirational storyline. Future research is recommended to explore its influence on modern Muslim readers in order to strengthen literary-based da’wah in the era of globalization.
2025-11-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026
