Peer Review Process
Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Al Khedmah undergoes a rigorous editorial and peer-review process to ensure academic quality and relevance. Initially, all submissions are evaluated by the Editorial Board through an initial screening process. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s scope, standards, or formatting requirements will be rejected at this stage without external review. Manuscripts considered suitable and relevant to the journal’s focus will proceed to the next stage.
Selected manuscripts are then reviewed by expert reviewers through a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Reviewers assess each manuscript based on its originality, contribution, methodological soundness, and relevance to community service practices. The peer reviewers of Jurnal Al Khedmah are experts in their respective fields with experience in reputable national and international academic publications. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor makes the final decision: acceptance, revision (minor or major), or rejection. Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts accordingly. The entire review process typically takes up to one month.
