Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Al Khedmah considers plagiarism to be unacceptable and therefore establishes a strict policy with clear punitive actions if plagiarism is identified in any submitted manuscript.

All submitted articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Any material taken verbatim from other sources must be clearly identified and properly cited so that it is distinguishable from the original text.

If plagiarism is identified, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the manuscript and determining appropriate actions based on the level of plagiarism detected, as outlined below:

  1. Minor Plagiarism: Copying short passages from other sources without proper citation.
Action: The author will receive a warning and be required to revise the manuscript and provide correct citations.
  2. Major Plagiarism: Copying substantial parts of other works without proper citation or acknowledgment.
Action: The submitted manuscript will be rejected for publication in Jurnal Al Khedmah, and the author(s) may be prohibited from submitting future manuscripts to the journal.
