Focus and Scope
Dirasat: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed, open access international journal published biannually (April and October) by STAI Dirosat Islamiyah Al Hikmah Jakarta, Indonesia. The journal aims to provide an academic platform for the dissemination of high-quality research and critical studies in Islamic studies, with a primary focus on the Qur'an and Tafsir. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, Qur'an and Tafsir Studies, Hadith Studies, Islamic Education, Islamic Thought, Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic Law, Islamic History and Civilization, as well as interdisciplinary approaches relevant to the development of Islamic studies in contemporary contexts.
Dirasat welcomes original research articles that offer analytical, critical, and contextual perspectives contributing to the advancement of Islamic scholarship at national and international levels. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere, and may be written in English or Indonesian. Articles should range between 2,500 and 5,000 words and must adhere to the APA citation style.
