Abstract

This research is motivated by the intensifying religion-based polarization in Indonesia, which demands a robust theological response derived directly from the primary source of Islam. The focus of this study is to examine the urgency of religious moderation through the uniqueness of Lafzhul Jalalah (the word "Allah") as the most frequently repeated vocabulary in the Al-Qur'an (2,699 times) and its correlation with socio-religious interaction verses. This qualitative library research applies a thematic exegesis (Tafsir Maudhu'i) approach, combined interdisciplinarily with Content Analysis. The results demonstrate that the word "Allah" is consistently positioned at the conclusion of essential humanitarian provisions, proving that social harmony possesses an absolute theological foundation within the Al-Qur'an. Through semantic mapping, this study reveals that monotheism (tawhid) serves as the true root of tolerance; since Allah, as Rabb al-'Alamin, is the creator of plurality, freedom of belief becomes a divine prerogative that humans must respect. Practically, this concept of tolerance rooted in divine authority exhibits a profound philosophical alignment with Pancasila and provides critical epistemological support for the Indonesian government's "middle way" policy (religious moderation) in countering both right-wing and left-wing extremism.
